Unlike the Everest Base Camp Trek, AmaDablam Base Camp sees few visitors who are not climbers.  And many would say that AmaDablam is by far the more beautiful peak.  But this trek not only visits AmaDablam Base Camp, but also Island Peak Base Camp.  Together, the trip to these two locations will allow you to see more mountain scenery up-close and personal than just about any other trek in the Khumbu region.  Additionally, you will eat and sleep alongside climbers for several days on the trek, allowing the opportunity to experience mountaineering culture like few non-climbers are able to do.
